Conference Fee

The fee includes access to all the conference sessions, the Conference Programme and the Book of Abstracts (online), Conference Proceedings after the conference (online), welcome reception ticket, coffee/tea, and lunch during the conference breaks. Not included in the conference fee are the additional costs such as Social dinner (Gala), transport, social events and city tours.

¹ All students (and Ph.D. students) are entitled to register at these rates but must submit a letter from their institution confirming their student status. This letter should be sent via e-mail to the conference e-mail: echa.thematic2019@gmail.com
² Low-income countries (i.e., the conference attendees from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, and Montenegro).

All attendees, whether presenting or not, all authors and co-authors are required to pay the conference fee.

Note.  An accompanying person may accompany you to the conference, of course. An accompanying person is a friend, a spouse, or an adult child (18 years old and older), who will accompany the conference attendee to our international scientific conference venue. As such, an accompanying person is not listed as a conference participant in any of the conference proceedings, does not actively contribute as an author or a co-author, and does not receive a certificate of attendance.

New members

You can become an ECHA member or renew your membership by registering at the ECHA website
The ECHA secretariat will handle the transaction concerning the ECHA membership payment.

The ECHA members conference fee applies to you if your ECHA membership status is active and covers the conference dates when registering.

Note that the ECHA membership is on a quarter-year based basis. This means that there will be ECHA members whose membership will expire on September 30th 2019. These members will not be able to apply for the reduced fee until they renew their membership. Please check your membership status expiration date at the ECHA secretariat.

The reduced ECHA membership fee does not apply to participants from low-income countries as they are already entitled to a lower conference fee.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations of fee payments are subject to a €40 administrative fee.

If cancelled before 1st July 2019, the administrative fee is charged and the rest of the paid conference fee is refunded. If cancelled 1st July 2019 onwards the administrative fee is charged and the 50% of the paid conference fee is refundable. Fee refunds can only be issued after the conference has ended. Participants unable to attend the conference may transfer their ticket (attendance to the whole conference) to another person.

SOCIAL EVENTS

The best way to meet friends and colleagues and have fun after a busy conference day is to attend the conference dinner:

Social dinner (Gala) is on 17th October 2019 at 21:00 in the hotel Croatia in the City of Cavtat. The City of Cavtat is located on a peninsula with a spectacular view of the open sea 17 km away from the City of Dubrovnik. The cost of 67€ for the Social dinner (Gala) includes bus transfers to/from the City of Cavtat, food, drinks, and entertainment. Please confirm your attendance in the Registration form. Elegant dress code with a mandarine coloured detail.

For the ECHA conference attendees the Dubrovnik PartneR d.o.o. organises the following excursions as optional social events to enjoy: a) Dubrovnik Historical City Tour (15.10.2019; 16.10.2019.), and b) the City of Ston and Neretva River Valley Day Tour (19.10.2019). You can choose to participate in these excursions by checking in the Registration Form and paying the excursion fee. The excursion fees are not included in the conference fee. Regarding an excursion you can contact the agency representative Mrs. Tilda Bogdanović (tilda@dubrovnikpr.com).

You may also choose to select in the Registration Form a transfer option (Dubrovnik Airport – Conference venue – Dubrovnik Airport) offered by the Dubrovnik PartneR d.o.o. Other transfer options are also available upon request at the Dubrovnik Airport.
